Cheats...
Someone (Amy) wanted to know where you can find translations or help with translations..
Well, Amy (and others), try the Cambridge Latin Course site, and try Perseus as well - but the answers for most of the translations are below so you can always look here...
Alrighty then
Miss M
PS - I like your conversations on the comments.. Go Rosa.. Go Leila...

Hi,
Saw the piece in the Telegraph. Impressive indeed. I am involved in the distribution of charitable funds and may be able to help your Rome trip if required. Email me at outlander@ontheruntur.com if you are still seeking subsidies.
Good luck.
Hi there
Read the inspirational piece in the Telegraph today - I wish Latin was studied like that when I was young!
I'm a Uk based filmmaker (look me up on imdb.com) and if you have the time, I'd very much like to get in contact to talk about your Latin class and Media Studies course.
I can be emailed on jake@gardenfilms.com
pax vobiscum
I saw the Saturday Telegraph feature and the contrast between my GCSE Latin 8 years ago and the ones your pupils enjoy is eye-opening.
I was chatting to a friend only a few days ago about Teach First, and it really does seem what would be called in business-speak as a "win-win". I hope the enjoyment you get make up for the pain of those hours in Exam Schools, the pupils certainly seem to be enthusiastic.
So, feliciter velim!
hi
nice picture miss!

I saw your thingamabob in the newspaper and I was rather impressed. I would love to learn Latin! I think I may have a look around your site, and I hope it helps me, epecially as I am doing Class Civ.

Rapping Catullus - I like it!
I'm a Classics graduate, former lawyer, now training for Primary teaching. Telegraph article really struck a chord. Developing languages - Latin in particular - is something I've mentioned in my applications to the Greater Manchester LEA pools; maybe I'll try rapping some Vergil at the Salford pool interview on Friday...
Thanks for the inspiration. Anyone have any comments about using the Mimimus books, they sound great...
Nescio, sed fieri sentio et amo
[sorry Catullus!]
Simon Thomas
I've used the Minimus books, and I found them really useful. My friend used it as a "getting to know you" book when she found out she was going to do Latin, and it gave her a head start over everyone else.
Kate from Reigate - Thanks so much for your email.. It is wonderful to know that the article has got other people interested in the subject. If you email me I can send you the details of places you can go/things you can do to learn Latin. Anything to help...
As for other comments - thank you everyone, it's great to see how much interest the article generated. All much appreciated.
Miss M
